Logo designed for the San Francisco Independent Film Festival 2009 documentary season, taking place at the Roxie Cinema in the San Francisco Mission District.

Goal: To evoke the spirit of independent cinema in the Bay Area. Dziga Vertov's camera eye from Man in the Movie Camera (1929) became the inspirational point for the "eye", the limited palette, and the angled elements in the design.

Goal: To create a mailer that was informative, practical and cost efficient. Mailer prints on 11 X 17 paper with no bleeds in two colors and can be folded easily for shipping. Back of mailer also becomes a calendar poster.

Logo designed for an organizaition who aims to bring doga classes to different venues in San Francisco and the greater Bay Area.

Goal: To create a name and a logo that embodies the philosophy, identity and vision of this organization. The yin and yang symbol became the first inspirational point for creating a design that revolved around the concepts of unity, openness, and flow, and that adopted a fresh and modern approach to a known traditional philosophy and practice.

Logo designed for a Bay Area local family-owned donut and coffee shop.

Goal: To create a brand
that could compete with other coffee shop chains, while maintaining its distinct neighborhood identity.

ROUND UP LOGO

Logo designed for the Round Up Music Festival held in Lafayette, CA, 2009.

Goal: To reflect Lafayette's agricultural background by playing with the definition of "round up" as the gathering of animals in a pen, and to represent the edginess of the festival and the Round Up Saloon, the festival's main venue, versus small-town Lafayette.

Logo designed for the 2010 Raider Cup organization's golf tournament in Isla Canela, Spain.

Goal: To parody the well-known Ryder Cup, by working off its traditional logo and incorporating subtle but significant changes characteristic of
its much smaller-scaled imitation.
